Narva castle in Estonia
By Aron Urb

A large area with untouched snow is required for this game, in order to create running paths by stomping on the snow. Some of these paths are dead ends, some cross each other, some are roundabouts. The players will gather together, and one is chosen to be the chaser, while the others will attempt to avoid being caught at all costs. The main condition is that you can run only along the paths and it is not allowed to jump from one path to another. When the chaser catches someone, he/she will give the caught player a pat on the back, thus transferring the chaser’s role to him/her, and the chase begins anew.

When there is no snow, sandy or grassy areas will work just as well.
